Net-Billing allows businesses, by installing a Photovoltaic System, to consume the energy they produce and to feed the surplus into the Grid for payment. The sale of surplus energy is carried out through participation in competitive procedures, direct participation in electricity markets, or via a bilateral PPA contract with a consumer.

The right for self-generation or self-consumption is granted to both natural and legal persons. There is also the possibility for the consumer’s Photovoltaic Station to belong to a third party or be managed through a third party, as long as the third party remains under the directives of the self-consumer (Virtual Net-Billing).
